Trained as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (MD, FRCSC), Dr. Chilopora's deep understanding of tissue, structure, and physiology translates directly into outcomes that are safe, refined, and natural.

Is this the same as seeing Dr. Chilopora as my doctor?

No. Chilopora Aesthetics is a separate, independent aesthetic clinic. The services offered here are cosmetic in nature and are entirely distinct from Dr. Chilopora's work as a physician in the Ontario health system. Aesthetic appointments here do not constitute a doctor-patient relationship for the purposes of medical care, and OHIP does not cover any of the services provided.

Why does Dr. Chilopora's medical background matter for aesthetics?

Over two decades of surgical training develops a deep, practical knowledge of human anatomy, tissue behaviour, and safe injection technique. This background informs how Dr. Chilopora approaches every aesthetic consultation — assessing suitability carefully, planning conservatively, and prioritising patient safety above all else.

Are treatments safe? What happens if something goes wrong?

Patient safety is the top priority. All treatments are performed personally by Dr. Chilopora using established, evidence-informed techniques. Rare adverse events are handled with the full benefit of Dr. Chilopora's clinical training and emergency response protocols. You will be fully informed of all potential risks during your consultation before any treatment proceeds.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is discussed transparently during your consultation, once Dr. Chilopora has assessed your needs and proposed a treatment plan. We do not publish blanket prices because every plan is individual. There is no pressure to proceed — the consultation is a conversation, not a sales appointment.

What should I expect at my first consultation?

Your first appointment is a detailed, one-on-one consultation with Dr. Chilopora. He will review your health history, discuss your goals, assess your anatomy, and explain what treatments may or may not be appropriate for you. You are never obligated to proceed with any treatment at this stage.
