In short: this website is for general information. It is not medical advice, using it does not make you a patient, and nothing here is a promise of a particular result. Every treatment requires a consultation first.

1. Acceptance

These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Grand Luxe Wellness, 41 Grand Ave. W., Chatham, Ontario N7L 1B4. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. The site is general information only

Everything on this site is published for general informational purposes. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a recommendation that any particular treatment is right for you. It is not a substitute for a consultation with a qualified health professional.

Do not delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have already been given, because of something you read here. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact your physician or attend your nearest emergency department.

3. No physician-patient relationship

Reading this site, telephoning to ask a question, or requesting an appointment does not create a physician-patient relationship, and does not create a treating relationship of any kind. Such a relationship begins only after an in-person consultation and acceptance for treatment.

Grand Luxe Wellness offers cosmetic services and operates separately from Dr. Garvey Chilopora's practice as a physician in the Ontario health system. Services provided here are not insured by OHIP.

4. Results are individual

Outcomes differ from person to person and depend on factors including anatomy, age, skin condition, general health and adherence to aftercare. Nothing on this site is a guarantee, warranty or prediction of any particular outcome. Any images, descriptions or timeframes are illustrative only.

5. Suitability and consultation

Not every treatment is suitable for every person. A consultation with Dr. Chilopora is required before any procedure, and we may decline to proceed where a treatment would not be appropriate or safe. Treatments are available only to adults who are able to give informed consent.

You are responsible for giving accurate and complete information about your health history, medications and allergies. Withholding relevant information can make a treatment unsafe.

6. Appointments and fees

Appointment times are held for you specifically. We ask that you give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule so the time can be offered to someone else.

Fees are quoted at consultation and are payable as arranged at the clinic. [Insert the clinic's cancellation notice period, any deposit requirement and any late-cancellation or no-show fee before publishing.]

7. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, layout, graphics and the Grand Luxe Wellness name and monogram, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish or adapt any part of the site for other purposes without our written permission.

Third-party product and device names mentioned on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners, and their use here is for identification only. It does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.

8. Links to other sites

Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

9. Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at all times. Treatment offerings, devices and details may change without notice. We may modify or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for the provision of health services, which is governed by the professional and legal standards that apply to those services.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted here, and the date at the top will change. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
